What I Do

With over 30 years of experience in tailoring, custom design, and fashion consultation, I am confident that I will help you achieve the best look and fit for your special occasion at an affordable price.

Bridal season gets to be very busy for me, therefore securing a first fitting date as soon as possible is highly recommended. Call, text or email me after you have purchased your gown.

I will need to know the date of your event, when your gown is expected to arrive if you have one on order and what your typical schedule is like.

Typically I allow at least three months from the first fitting to the final fitting to do alterations on a bridal gown. These alterations can include but are not limited to bodice modifications, hemming, creating the bustle, and any other fittings. Bridesmaid dresses and other formal wear can be done in three weeks; however, more time is better if possible. Also, if I need to remodel a second hand bridal gown, you should plan to come in for a consult at least six months before the wedding.

I do fittings on:
Tuesdays 9:00 to 6:30 (6:30 being the last appointment)
Wednesdays/Thursdays 9:00 to 5:00 (5:00 being the last appointment)
Saturdays 9:00 to 1:00.
I try to reserve Mondays and Fridays as dedicated sewing days, but I am willing to make appointments then too if your schedule works best for them. I make custom veils, shrugs, sashes and ties. I do not make gowns at this time; however I do have a referral. I also carry several styles of retail veils, tiaras, and hair accent pieces.

You will find that my prices are extremely reasonable.
